A robotic bricklaying installation: an industrial robot, programmed to place each brick at its own position and angle, builds a wall with a curved pattern.

Overview
We fitted an industrial robot with a brick gripper and planned a wall whose curved pattern comes from varying the position and rotation of every single brick. After verifying the laying sequence and robot motion in simulation, the robot laid the bricks itself on site to build the installation.
