Overview
In the ZER01NE CREATOR project, BAT experimented with developing and applying robotic 3D printing and robotic machining processes to produce architectural components in plastic and in a casting material, GRG (glass-reinforced gypsum), respectively.
We fabricated free-form GRG panels with a Schwarz minimal-surface section inside. Using a panel master and its negative counterpart, both machined by 6-axis robotic milling, we made silicone molds and cast the panels.
